Showing our WILD side!

Each winter Monteith’s searches restaurants, bars and cafes around the country looking for New Zealand’s ‘wildest’ beer and food match through its Monteith’s Beer & Wild Food Challenge.  This year our chefs in The Panorama Restaurant have come up with a pretty wild entry!
'Head to Hoof' House smoked wild pig cutlet, slow cooked pork belly and trotters braised in Monteiths Celtic Ale and finished with crispy pigs ear. Matched with Monteiths Celtic Ale.

Public voting for the Monteith's Beer & Wild Food Challenge is from 4th June to 18th July, during which time you guys can taste and vote on the wild food dishes at participating restaurants and bars. Each person who votes by text will receive a voucher to their mobile phone for a complimentary Monteith's redeemable at that restaurant or bar.  We'll post a pic of the dish just as soon as we can catch the ingredients!
